Well, it sort of looks like a block of cheddar cheese that was halfway run through the grater. But you never can tell about these things. :)
Partially grated cheese or perhaps a candle with multiple wicks.
Agreed. Unless it's soap...
I was thinking of cheese as well or a fungi who suddenly started to sprout in a block of yellow something =P

Soap? I don't think you ran a grater over it though because there are no furrows. Is it tallow for making soap? Dunno... I hope you let us know because I'm really curious now!

I'm going to go with a bar of soap - I've grated soap for making laundry detergent and that's what it makes me think of. ;)
