  8. I'm never sure whether to marvel or cringe when I see heavy custom work on a classic car. Part of me wants to go "ooh" and another part wants to cry. But this guy's stayed fairly close to original -- or at least customizations that might have been done by the original owner back when the car was new-ish. A lot more shiny stuff under the clearly (pun intended) custom hood than Chevy put there I'm sure, and that ram air induction doesn't look at all like something stock for the period. But it's still cool. And it's still a ... '62? '63? Vette.

  9. Oou, that's a pretty Corvette. From your title I don't think it is yours, rather a wish-it-was mine.
    I've never had a corvette either, my grown kid has one. He let me drive it as he has done all his cars.
    I keep looking for an affordable model I like in the 1:18 scale die casts.
