  1. I love this pic. Technically, it's a great example of proper use of depth of field to tell a story. Subjectwise, it evokes memories of Mr. Bill. And that's always a great thing.

    Thanks for the delightful photo-trip!

    Mine's nowhere near as whimsical:

  6. I have to admit that I was an adult before I realized that discombobulated was a real word. I thought my dad just made it up!

This is a fun picture, thanks for sharing.

Will we see him when he's all put together?

  8. hahaha I love that word and that picture fits it to a tee.

At our house we use the word discombobulating for *that* time of the month. :p

  12. What a riot!! Thanks for the laugh. I wanted to echo Carmi's praise of the greatness of the shot photographically as well. It is easy when something is fun to overlook how technically good it is!

    Mine is up at:

  16. OK, I have a "thing" about dismembered parts and I must say...this disturbed me.

  17. I felt like that yesterday.

I posted my wordless at My Ordinary Things and can use some help figuring out what to use the thing in my picture for.

  18. Discombobulated is right! Dismembered, you might even say. Nice shot!

  19. Love it!
My eldest is often found sculpting with modeling clay. Your picture reminds me of some of his projects.

  20. The little clay clown is actually a work in progress by ClayGuy. He's been baked, but now needs his appendages sewn to the torso, his clothes need to be made and placed upon him, and he will be one right happy clown.

Sorry for any, um, disconcerting thoughts I put out there. He's truly not dismembered. I'll be sure to share pix of him in his completed state, when all is good and right with his world. :D

    Happy WW!
