  4. Thanks, Robin! I just love Pikes Peak! If you could see all the photos I've taken . . . well, let's just say there are a LOT! I used to tease my mom for taking lots of ocean pix. Apparently I am the mountain version of her. :D

  8. Thanks Gattina & Comedy+. I'm thinking I'll have to go take some more pix during the early morning or a little earlier in the evening. It was getting pretty dark by the time I took this.

CGQ - I know that can be a tough trip up the mountain. Especially if you hail from a much lower elevation to begin with. And then there are the edges of the road with their scenic drop-offs. LOL! I guess you can just appreciate the Peak from a distance or photos. :D

  9. Beautiful photo. I love the contrast of colors with the yellow sunflower in the foreground and the blue of the sky and mountains. Beatiful capture.

  10. Thanks, Rayne. I think you're right - the contrast really sets it off. Funny thing is that I was out trying to get photos of lightening or a cool sunset. I was really disappointed because I got neither. Then as we were about to leave, I snapped this one. And I just love how it turned out. :D
