I have a big one of these also. It lives out on the porch in the summer and comes into the living room for the winter. Mine has some brown tips also. I was once told to let the water sit for a couple of days first and that would avoid the browning, but it does not seem to help. I recently heard to use distilled water to leach the soil of salts and then to use distilled or rain water to water them. I guess I'll try that.

Beautiful, I'd forgotton all about it I used to have one hanging in my stair well I got from a friends garden full of baby spiders :) it's been so long I can't remember what happened to it. Scale invasion from a local nursery maybe?

I love the way each strand is defined in the light. What a beautiful shot. I think I have one of those plants, too, but yours looks healthier! =D
