Understanding Exposure - a Giveaway

As I am continually seeking to improve my photography skills, one book in particular was praised as the book to have - Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. So I promptly bought one. And then another. Not intentionally. But my faux pax could be your opportunity, as I am giving one of these away.

If you'd like to win your very own, brand-spanking new copy of Understanding Exposure you have three chances to do so:

1. Post about the giveaway on your blog. Come back here and leave a comment, a link to your post, and an email address.

2. Tweet about it. Come back and leave a comment, link, and email.

3. Go to my photoblog and tell me which is your favorite pic. Just on the main page - you don't have to go through a year's worth of photos. Unless you have nothing else to do and you want to. Feel free to like an older picture. It won't harm your chances of winning at all. It might endear you to me, though. Come back here, leave a comment with your fav and your email.

Please be sure to leave a separate comment for each of the above items. And provide a valid email address so I can get in touch with you. It would be sad if you won but provided no contact information. Because then I would have to draw again. Open to residents of US & Canada.

Oh, of equal importance, this is open until next Thursday, June 11th. Comments will close at 10:00 pm Mountain Standard Time. The winner will be announced Friday morning, June 12th.

Ok. I didn't exactly go through a whole years worth to find my favorite pic - only to 12/24/08. Seriously. Needed an excuse to sit after standing at work all day. It was fun looking back at your older pics again. Choosing my favorite was a difficult task. And my fav is - 5/25 - your first pic of Allium. I just LOVE the color contrast. The DOF is great. The pic is just gorgeous!!

Cool! :)

I just love giveaways. Even though I've only ever won one. Maybe this is my lucky break! Or my second break, I guess.

I just turned mine back into the library. And apparently I need to read it a second time because once is not enough.

I think it went in one ear and out the other. :D

However, I loved your winter wonderland shots, too. I like all your photos. :) Neat to see someone else's point of view on the world.

The flower shots were pretty amazing.

So did the book help? Didja learn anything?

And I also checked out your photos -- I love the smooching one because it is so candid and will mean so much as your kids get older!

My little guy (when do you stop calling your kids "my little guy?) is always asking me to photography his Lego creations. Great to see another mom doing it!

Visiting from "Life with my 3 Boybarians".

I had checked out that book from the library and have always wanted it for my own home. Lots of good tips and lessons to learn!

My blog isn't active and I don't tweet but I did take a look at your photoblog. You have several really great photos. I really liked the bubble in the tree...

My pick is 2.25.09.

I have 3 boys - 2 of whom are old enough to love lego. This is so something that my oldest would go for!
